Your STL files stay on your device

When you drop or choose an STL file, your browser measures it locally. The file is never uploaded to our servers or anyone else’s.

The numbers you type

Calculator inputs stay in your browser. They only leave it if you copy a share link: the link holds the numbers as URL parameters, and anyone you send it to can see them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and features are used. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it only runs after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner; until then no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. Elsewhere it runs by default.

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga. Google processes the data as described in Google’s privacy policy.

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Choosing “Reject” removes the analytics cookies.

Settings stored in your browser

We keep two small values in your browser’s local storage: your theme (c3p-theme) and your cookie choice (c3p-consent). Neither is sent anywhere.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site. We use the country Cloudflare derives from it only to decide whether to show the cookie banner; we don’t store it.
